A dry yet juicy red wine full of tart cherry and pomegrante flavors. The Mavrodafni grape is traditionally vinified into a sweet wine, but this dry style it a joy to drink by itself or with a variety of meats and cheeses. Winemaker Panagiotis Dimitropoulos was an engineer, and now runs his biodynamic winery without irrigation or chemicals.
